My pup was about 15 pounds at 3 months. I did the same thing, made a thread freaking out that I thought I was starving her (all her siblings had at least 10+ pounds on her) but she ended up being on the small side Smile Now at 4.5 months.. shes like 27 pounds! Let's just say she had a growth spurt Razz

Shiloh was a little smaller than her siblings also. She also had a growth spurt felt like over night.

Lucian is 4 1/2 months, and hovering right around 30lbs. I'm waiting for growth spurt number 2, lol.

Also I had to switch her food abruptly because I brought her From another country and the food I was feeding her over there is not available here as expected she has diarrhea how can I help her diarrhea

What are you feeding her? I highly recommend Taste of the Wild Puppy venison.
it's grain free and has help our Husky get over the loss stools. He was 17 lbs at 11 weeks and now at 6 months is 60 lbs.

Just a friendly reminder Smile

Check the dates on the posts when responding to a topic. It really isn't that big of a deal but in this case the OP started this thread in July Wink

Chances are any advice given at this point is lost..... Unless the Mayans end up being right, and slightly late, and we time travel as a side effect lol!

My Male was 18 Pounds at 3 months, and was the runt of his litter, though the "breeder" made us take him at 5 weeks with threat to sell him after paying a hefty, non-refundable deposit. We immediately put him on a high quality food and started to introduce raw to him at 8 weeks. When we got him at 5 weeks, he was 6 pounds.

That being said, as someone else said - Huskies come in all shapes and sizes. Talk to your Vet, take in a fecal sample and just be sure she's eating properly Smile She looks super cute Smile

I've been worried about the same thing. I have a 3 month 2 week old female husky and she when she went for her 12 week appointment she only weighed 12.7 lbs. I'm glad to see this is somewhat normal! How much/often were you guys feeding your huskies at this age just so I know if I'm on the right track. Also, what brand of food do you all use?

It is definitely normal. Huskies are not large breed, they are medium sized dogs. It is a common (and irritating) misconception that they are big dogs.

I know everyone has their own choice, I use a grain-free salmon-based food produced by PureBalance. They also have a grain-free bison-based food. Yes, it is a Wal-Mart brand, but it a new product that is actually pretty good quality as far as kibble goes. I recommend going to pet food advisor and check out the ratings and the break down of the ingredients. I do recommend grain-free products.
