I just joined this club and this sounds like a great even. I just don't konw yet if I can confirm. I should know by March. Is there any deposit or anything needed ahead of time for tent camping. Right now it would just be me and my Husky...

:o....:o!!!!! This is in driving range from where I live, only a little over five hours. I had been thinking about how cool it would be to get together with the huskies and their people from this site the other day. I am pleased to see it is an actual think. I have a high amount of interest in going and as it is the weekend I will be off work. I will have to check my military training schedule but even with that I can work with my chain of command. I will return with a more solid yay or nay for Malfoy and I when the weekend is over and I can contact the proper people but as of now I am 90% sure we will be there.



+Number of people: It would be myself and my boyfriend
+Number of dogs: One
+Dates coming: We would head up there the 3rd when I got off of work and be there that night and stay until Sunday mid-morning
+Cabin/Tent/Hotel: Tent
+If you are sharing a cabin with another member: Nope
+Dates attending: I would be there late on the 3rd

Well I want to start collecting deposits this week but I'm waiting to hear back from Megan.

I hear ya I'm broke too! Taxes went up, electric bill doubled, and I had to pay 500 bucks to fix my car. Not starting out good this year!!

For a camp site, the deposit is one night $25 plus the $5 booking fee

You are correct. Evansville it is. Will you guys all be staying Sunday night? I will have to go back home Sunday, myself. I'd probably pack up and do so first thing in the morning to avoid having to pay another day and to ensure I have time to get home and cleaned up and ready for work the next day.

I am pretty excited about this. I saw that hiking is something going on. Do ya'll do anything else special at these kinds of events?

When are the deposits due? We are still interested although it may only be 1 husky instead of 2. Depends on how Yukon does with car sickness

Sorry never updated the thread. No one was helping me, and the manager of the site wouldn't respond, also I read reviews on the site and heard some nasty things about the owner.

It's postponed until furter notice.

There's a Husky Camp in Iowa this September if you're interested! I'm going there from WI and it's about 5 hours for me.
