| Hello my name is tashauna. my Husband is tony and we have 5 beautiful children togather. they are 8, 5, 4, 2, 1. We got nikita from a farm, in despart need of a home. We got her when she was just over 3 months. She is a white sibe. When we got her, her name was Nanook. she did not know her name and when walking one night i called out Nikita, she looked at me and ever since then it stuck. She wa born march 31st along with 5 other brothers and sisters. during delievery her mother pased. Nikita was "the runt" of the litter. As a result of being the "runt" with no mother, the father of her tried to kill her. He attacked her at 5 weeks old and was lucky to live. she ended up with trama to her head. her skull never healed properly and she now has a lump as i call it abouve her left eye. I still keep in contact with her prior owner and when i told him i had changed her name he was touched. not understanding was he sounded thrilled, sad and overcome. he told me it ment alot to him and was a perfect name. when i asked y he went on to tell me, her mothers name was nikita. I got shivers and had tears in my eyes. Nikita is an amazing dog, it is like she has always had a place here. i do not know what i would do without her. She is quite clam and an amazing friend. she loves the out doors, going on hikes and swims with us. she trains easy and smart and sneeky. Thank you for reading nikitas story ...................so far. |
