2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. The other day, I noticed that Juneau's collar was hanging by a strand - literally. I took it off and realized that the metal loop for the collar was shearing the collar (the edges were not smoothed out enough)! The tear was touching Juneau's neck, right behind the metal loop. Luckily I noticed it before I took her on a walk.

In the first few pics, the two holes is where the collar goes through.

I've only had this collar since Aug 25th 2012. It lasted barely 2 months. I rarely used it to walk with her (as she pulls). I mainly just used it for an ID tag holder and to clip on to take her out to go potty while at work.

I e-mailed Ruffwear about my issue and they're sending me a new one for free (I picked green this time:) )! I'm sending mine in so the Product Designer Team can take a look at it. I kinda wish I left it in the loop before I took it off... Oh well. I'm hoping it was just a faulty collar. My mom thought she chewed it, but I honestly don't think it's possible for Juneau to chew that perfectly straight while on her neck without mangling up the rest of the collar. Have any of your pups done that? lol

I just wanted to point out the amazing customer care that I received through RuffWear! When Juneau is old enough, I'm going to buy a few doggy packs so we can go hiking. Smile

Please check your pup's collars if you have the same one! I think this is a new model this year (Came out in June-July?).

Yikes! We had some issues with an EzyDog leash that I had bought that wore away after only a couple months, they also replaced it for free and sent it two day shipping! So funny how dog supply customer service is better then ours!

Right! I was honestly shocked. I had already placed an order for a Lupine collar (so I knew for sure it'd be replaced).

That's nice of them! Ruffwear said it'd be about 4 business days (hell, I'm happy they're replacing it for free). I already had a spare collar on hand so I'm not too worried. Good to know that EZYDog will take care of their customers too!
