| Ok so kodas 3rd leash from ruff wear broke. The first one he chewed but other 2 broke. They both broke at the spot where its a clip at the handle for the top notch rope. The plastic just snapped. And then one of his top notch collars broke where the tags hang.
So i found this leash i think im going to get. What you guys think? Got any suggestions for collars?

| That's too bad. I've always worried about that with the Flat Out leash, but haven't had any problems so far. I know that they redesigned them though and the clips are no longer plastic at the handle. |

The soft slip doesn't damage their fur at all. We had to stop getting them though because Bode keeps chewing through collars and it was getting too expensive to keep ordering more and paying for shipping, etc... |

| Within the last few months. It's a metal talon clip now. They did it with all their leashes and collars I think. http://www.ruffwear.com/flat-out-leash-dog-leash
They are pretty good about replacing broken stuff. Have you had them replace the leashes or just bought new ones? Maybe you could see if they'll replace it with a new design to see if you like it before buying something else. |

| Yeah, they are pretty thin. Probably not good if you are trying to walk a bad puller on them, but we walk on a harness and would use it more for just tags and quicker leash trips like to the pet store or car rides. |

| That mountain dog leash is very similar to what I use with Kenzi only mine is called a Weiss Walkie. They have the same material and structure and I love mine. I have had it for over a year and no issues at all. Kenzi isn't a puller so much but her prey drive is massive and she has hit it hard and it's always stayed firm. The way the leash is built it also takes some of the pressure off her collar so it isn't as apt to break and if the collar does break the leash is wrapped under her so she isn't instantly loose. I currently use a nylon quick release collar from Tractor Supply, but it's a metal clip instead of the flimsy plastic one. _________________  |

| I just wanted to add that I have the Ruffwear Flat line leash, which is basically like the flat out, and I think it's pretty sturdy so far. Lycus is 80 lbs pretty much and he pulls pretty bad occasionally and it's been holding out really well. I really love the talon clip that it has. |

| http://boldleaddesigns.com/ I love the collars and leashes! They are handmade and durable, And they don't use plastic!! I love their leather collars and leashes and they hold up so good with Lucian! My boy is a strong puller, especially if you throw on a harness! So I tried the infinity lead by them and I have fallen in love!!!! Lucian does not pull and no this did not take away his pride! Some people said with head collars their dog no longer wanted any part of walking- I think that was with the gentle leader though! Not Lucian he could care less! He didn't know what to think about it at first but I made him wear it at the house and out on a small truck ride and then he was used to it! But There products are all around just great! And If you think your husky will escape the infinity lead then guess again they have a connector piece to connect to another collar and/or a harness in which I hook another leash to his harness and back just in case  the other good thing about the infinity lead is that it is a leash and head collar in one so no buckles or snaps! It works for Lucian and I! |

The talon clip is the reason i keep buying them! I love tha clip! But i just cant spend anymore money on that company. The thing is koda isnt much of a puller, thats why im upset with this stuff breaking. |

| I will always go for indi-dog. I've had a couple people on the Ohio group buy their gear and I see them at meets, and they always tell me how satisfied they are which makes me happy knowing I'm not the only one. Custom-made by a wonderful lady who owns huskies, and makes her gear durable FOR huskies. http://indi-dog.co.uk/ The collar/lead/set shown below is my latest purchase from indi-dog. My pups also have one chain martingale each, two flat collars each, one police lead each, and soon they will all have one harness each in the style Yuki is modeling below. I've had this stuff for over a year now and none of it has worn down or broken, it all looks brand new.  |

| Look for alpine harnesses and collars. I got mine for Bella two years ago after she chewed through five harnesses in a week. They replace them for free if they ever break, this includes them chewing them through and aside from one dieing that way I have never hard it break. They also let you replace it if they grow out of it. You can usually find them at hollistic or good pet stores and as I found out last night Petco of all places has them now. Best twenty bucks I ever spent |
