| Ok, not really but this boy is testing me to no end this past week!! He is still doing great with no accidents, walking great on a leash but has stopped listening to me and has become a hoarder. He drags EVERYTHING outside...I mean everything and if you think you put it out of his reach.....he finds a way to get to it. I have found bed sheets, shoes, plates, spoons, stuffed animals, pillows, cell phone and my kindle fire in the backyard..lucky he doesn't chew on things...he just wants them outback. I do not know how he gets these things with out us noticing LOL...anyway his latest attempt was a case of beer...I heard all this noise and go to investigate and he was trying his hardest to get it through the doggie door....he dragged a whole case of beer across the kitchen to get it out back!
I was teaching him "leave it", "come" and "stay" he was doing awesome..not anymore...he totally ignores me.
All in all he is still a good pup...just testing me I think. He is 12 weeks old and getting his last puppy shot next week (I think) so we will be doing some classes and getting out more. Where I live they are having a big outbreak in parvo and distemper (?) so the vet told us not to take him anywhere until his shots were done. Maybe it is just cabin fever :-)

| Haha, too bad you didn't get pics of the case of beer.
Maybe you can positively reframe this for him and turn it into an intentional game or job?? |

| "Take the Kindle Fire, but not the BEER!"
haha this gave me a good laugh, I can totally picture myself saying the above. If it was a iPad I wouldn't say it.lol.
Meeka did the same thing to me for a week. It appeared as our training (Sit, Down, Stay) went down the tubes, What I did is I stopped training her for 2 days and picked up some better treats and it got her attention back to me. Not sure if Nanook just needs reinforment in training.
Hope it all works out. |

| Once I left my girl Tasha in the car for 2 minutes while i carried a couple things upstairs. I actually ran up the stairs because I didn't trust her alone in the car. When I came back down to the car she had ripped open a bag of dove chocolate and swallowed a bunch of it whole, foil and all! I forgot I had it in there. Needless to say after a few panicked phone called to the vet they suggested I keep an eye on her and bring her in if there were any signs of toxicity. She was fine, and had sparkly poop for a couple days from the wrappers. The beer story is hilarious! Maybe he's planning a neighborhood doggie party the next time you're out of the house. |

| Pup after my own heart, he just wants to chill outside on a nice sheet, with a good ebook and have a few beers!
I have absolutely no suggestions for trying to get him to "leave it" with a doggy door. My oldest two are not huskys, but I taught them that none of their toys could go outside by just not opening the door for them until they dropped them. Now, there is always a mound of toys right next to the door, wish I taught them to put them back in the toy box. My husky is a year old and I've only had her a little over a week and so far no battles with this. (I have plenty of other battles with her though). Good luck. |

| OMG that is so funny. Taking a case of beer out the doggie door, LOL. We have been lucky, Kodiak only takes his stuff animals and occasionally our shoes out the door. |

| Not gonna lie the beer sounds hilarious. My pup tried opening a beer left on the floor from a party we had the night before a couple of weeks ago Luckily I took it away just in time |
