We'll see. If Link is in a spurt, you never know, he might start to gain fast. Dizzy is definitely growing quickly again. 3 lbs in 11 days, and he is more lean looking now. Smile

They thought he was 10 months old, and he weighs 37 pounds. He may just need to bulk up a bit, but he's not skinny. He just feels lean.

I really won't worry about it.. when we got Blaze he was 35 lbs at 9 months old he now weights about 55lbs at 3 years. Kerian was only 38 lbs when we got her from the shelter they said she was about 2 years then she now weights about 50 lbs at 3 years.

This is just pure curiosity for me, but did you get him from a breeder, and did he come with papers? The weight doesn't seem off to me, but his face just seems so mal to me.. just out of interest Smile

I got him from a breeder but without papers. The breeder had at least 7 huskies and only one malamute. He kept his huskies in a huge open but fenced area and the malamute was the only one he kept out of there. He also pointed out the parents to me which were both clearly sibes after comparing to the malamute.

Polar is only 40 pounds and is 2 years old its really weird, because he isn't skinny at all hes just very lean and is 23" at the shoulder.

Took the pups to Petsmart today and got a weight on them! I couldn't believe what I saw lol, 5 months apart and they weigh the same!! Shocked

Lycus was at 76lbs at 20 months two weeks ago and he still needed to gain a few more pounds. He got a bit skinny after being anemic.

He was about 55lbs at 5 months. It was around then, that the vet told me he was going to hit the 70lb mark, and sure enough he did. Lycus is just REALLY tall. He has long legs.

That makes me feel better lycus weighed that much at 5 months. At 22 weeks my lab was 49lbs and he ended up 104 lbs. So when loki was 44 at 22 weeks it made me nervous he would hit 80-90lb range. I guess my vet still thinks 80-90 could be his end weight. Guess we will see. Still not sure if he is pure husky or not since his shelter background.
