Kai made a new friend recently. Rie is part husky, part malamute and part wolf-hybrid. Beautiful dog, big (90 pounds and not fully grown yet, the mom is 130!). She and Kai have become very fast friends.

Wow she's gotten huge! And so fluffy. beautiful  

We live in northern Virginia, so have seen some snow. We went up to my parents' house for the holidays, and there was a lot of fluffy powder. Needless to say, she loved it!
