I try to take a lot of pictures of my fur son, and figure keeping this page might help to take more. I know it's going to be so much fun to look back in a couple months when he's huge and think, "Wow, he used to be so small!" Here we go. FIRST PHOTO: This is the photo that was listed on the shelter webpage. I originally sent in an application for his brother, but I saw him and something told me to change it. I knew he was the one for me, and meeting him confirmed my intuition. CAR RIDE HOME: October 24th. It was a 45 minute drive out to get him. The shelter was very small, so when we arrived and were the only ones there, he and his friend were let out right into the lobby area. They played together while I filled out his paperwork, and when I finished up, I turned around and picked him up for the first time. He settled his head into my shoulder and stayed in my arms until we got to the car. There, he cuddled up in my lap and slept nearly the whole way home. DAY ONE: His first night home. He took up less than half of his bed and was so little he could hardly see over it if he were laying down! Goodness. I can't believe it. WEEK TWO: He wet the bed, as puppies do, so we had to change his blanket. He liked this one a lot better and took a lot longer to soil it. The black and brown stuffed puppy was the first toy we picked out for him, and he love(d/s) it-- he carried it everywhere with him! He's so gentle with it that he still has it even though he's destroyed a handful of others. WEEK THREE: So much puppy laundry! But he was getting a lot better at this point. ONE MONTH: Just over a month with our baby! Wow, it feels like we've been together so much longer than that. He's already learned so much and met so many different people! Most shockingly, boy, has he grown. I'll have to get a picture of him in his bed now.

Oh goodness, that face. He's adorable. Has an expression like my male mix who also has lab. It's something about the eyes that just see into your soul. _________________

He is super cute! Great start to his scrapbook, I look forward to watching him change and grow! I look back on my own scrapbooks sometimes, thinking "meh, they havnt changed much at all" and then I see the pics and I'm like, "woah, no way! I don't remember Kohdi's markings being that dark, or Mishka really did grow a bit" hahaha, so it's pretty cool having these scrapbooks so handy and keeping them updated.

And here we see how much he's grown in comparison to his Tigger:--- --- I know. It's crazy. As you can see, pup is getting huge! I've managed to nab four of his baby teeth he's lost. He's also a good bleeder, so you can definitely tell when you're about to find one. Here's my current favourite picture of him:
