| WHY did my job have to start carrying plants?!?!?! aghh! haha. i was wandering around our "garden center" today and decided to buy these two guys! i can't wait to see the butterfly bush grown! i planted them both along the fence in my back yard. hope the dogs don't mess with them "Miss Ruby" butterfly bush. Its new from 2009 or 2010. its supposed to be more compact than a normal one only getting about 5x5 feet which is small for these guys i guess haha: this is what the blooms look like: (not the plant i bought) and a "Bloomerang" lilac. it reblooms in the fall: what the blooms look like: (not the plant i bought)

| curse you and your butterfly bush! JK i LOVE BB but i have planted 3 in the last 2 years and they have not come back in the spring. i did go to HD yesterday and i think i saw this "new" BB it was being called a shrub and it had a center trunk and then bushed out where the 3 bushes i have tired were more like sticks coming out of the ground... I am toying with the idea of giving it one last try on this shrub.... where do you work and how much was your BB? HD had them for $20 _________________ |

| You lucky duck! I'm so jealous! I want to get a butterfly bush in the worst way but I think hubby would have a fit if I brought home another plant. Awesome price on that thing too...oh I'm just seething with jealousy over here. _________________ |
