| Ghost is such a smart dog. I'm curious now what mine would do if I wrap a gift. I may have to test this out. Melissa, Slimey lasted a good amount of time with Willow but Piper started to destroy him so I put him up to be sticthed. I"m gonna have my mom fix him. |

| Keimo will only open them if they are treats and he can smell it... but even then he won't do it without my help. That's awesome that Ghost will do that! Mindy & Melissa, who's Slimey? Just curious and nosy like my huskies. lol |

Slimey is one of those Chew Guard stuffed toys that Mindy's dog Willow received as a gift. She wouldn't let it out of her sight for a while, it was really cute. It's really funny how Ghost almost instinctively knows how to unwrap presents. She must have learned it from us, but she's only seen us do it a couple times. I guess it's because we open our gifts first, then let the girls open theirs. Lulu still has no interest in unwrapping anything. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | I've been a slacker for a few days and have been bad about updating pictures. So, here are the last few days worth of gifts: A doggy dreidl from Grandma and Grandpa Botnick: Rocking out her new "The Who" t-shirt: She was overwhelmed by the size of this bone. It was too cute! _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Here are a few from today's epic road trip... "Mom, it is WAY too early to be in the car!" "Are we there yet?" Car BQ! "Yes, I know it's 45 with a 70 mph induced wind chill. What of it?" "A new bed? Where ARE we?" _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Ok, so it's been a while since I posted in Ghost's scrapbook. I've taken a bunch of pictures lately, they've just wound up in other threads or just not getting uploaded. So here are some updates: I need to caption this one. This was from about 3 weeks ago when Ghost and Duchess met up at the park: There's a cat in this box! I turned my back for 5 seconds at the park yesterday and this is what I found: So we decided to take her down to the dog beach in the same complex: _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Here are some more from the last few days. First off, Ghost *hates* harnesses of all kinds, and is an absolute drama queen when it's time to put one on. After a rollerjoring session: Modeling her new pack: Aaron was enjoying the 45 lb lap dog tonight: _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | We went out to a paved trail to go rollerjoring today, because it's a much smoother surface than the street we live on. Ghost had a lot of fun, Lulu tried to attack anyone who passed her on anything with wheels. Including me. Anyway, it got a little warm so we stopped at a water fountain on the trail, and Ghost just naturally knew what to do. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | I need to post video of it, but Ghost runs and tries to stay away from us whenever the harness comes out. It's actually kind of sad. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword.
