| Have a few pictures that I've taken over the last couple days. We found some little antlers and a doggy santa hat the last time we were in Petsmart, and we decided to model them to see how they looked on her. Yeah, she didn't like them. She was so expressive about it, and her facial expressions were just priceless Stop laughing at me. Seriously you guys! I hate you... I've been good, can I please take this off now? And finally, we got another chew proof dragon (Mrs. Trogdor), and she won't go anywhere without it. She even carries it up to the couch and sleeps with it. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. That's the exact one Kale has! Definitely his favorite Love her expressions! When I put headbands on Kale his ears go flat and his pupils look like saucers |

| Are they seriously understandable? Mya will get a toy and be at it FOREVER until she takes the squeaky out. Kody seems to be on the same path..lol. Kong wubbas last about a month, but that's only because they loose interest after a while and just bring them over to play tug... |

| They're pretty tough. Trogdor is definitely showing some wear after 4+ months, but despite being carried everywhere and played with pretty hard, it's still in really good shape. Give them a shot! _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Aevyn had one of those dragon/dino things, and he's only just now destroyed him beyond repair. No head, wings, feet, or tail and yet we still can't bring ourselves to throw him out. Afterall, it was his first toy. I'm glad to see they are so popular among our husky population though, justifies me buying a new one. That's just "Dragon", we weren't nearly as creative with the name as you and Ghost seem to have been. Edit: I'm entirely unsure why that picture is upsidedown, as when I look at the file its most definitely upside right. |

| We bought that same blue dragon for Ghost the first day we have it, and I totally feel you on not being able to throw it away. Thankfully, we just have one small hole in Trogdor's leg that needs to be stitched, and that's it. I'll just keep stitching it up as long as I possibly can. The name Trogdor came from a cartoon online called Homestar Runner, and every dragon Aaron and I see gets called Trogdor. We have carried on the naming trend though, we got a green pterodactyl that we named Petry after the character in Land Before Time, and a pink dragon that we named Mrs. Trogdor. Yeah, we're weird That's a super cute picture of Aevyn, too. Even if it is upside down. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | Most of Aevyn's toys just get named after what it is. "Duck" "Froggie" "Dragon" etc etc. We really aren't that interesting over here.
I think I'll probably go out this weekend and replace Dragon though, maybe then I can finally throw away the destuffed carcass from my floors. Every time I pick up the body though (whats left of it) Aevyn immediately perks up and comes to take it from me. I feel so awful.
I'll have to report back with his new one, maybe you'll have a more interesting name for it then "Dragon Two." |

| Those are really the only toys we have named. Ghost won't let Mrs. Trogdor out of her sight tonight, but normally she HAS to have Trogdor in her crate when she goes in there. It's like her security blanket. These dogs really are like little kids, it's hilarious. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | We got one of those undestructuble dragons a few Christmas' ago and it was completely destroyed within a week or so. We do had a husky beanie buddy that she has had since I got her and it is bad. I have had to sew the head back on several times. She wouldn't take the new one I got for her though. She even gets weird when I wash the stuff too. It definately is like a security blanket for them. |

| Dragon was the same way for Aevyn for a while. He'd even get really upset with us when we'd squeak him, and he'd (very gently) take him from us and go lay with him. Whining the whole time. Then Lobster came around and Dragon got destroyed while Lobster was the new favorite. Aevyn def. has his toys he can't be without, but they switch very often. Now its a Seal, one of those tough toys that he's only managed to get the tail off of. He takes Seal on walks sometimes, and on all his car rides. He looks so stupid walking around with it. |

| Willow's toys have been banned from the bedroom because she kept me up playing with it awhile back. So last night she took slimey to the door, dropped it and came into the bedroom. I thought that was so funny that she acknowledged they are not allowed in that room. As soon as i opened the door this morning she picked it up and took him to the back door. |

| last night Willow dropped Slimey on my legs and laid down under the pullout of the couch. Next thing I know, Slimey is slowly slipping off my legs...she grabbed a wing and was slowly pulling him down to her. This toy is a huge hit! |

Ghost keeps hoarding the 3 chew proof toys that we have, and then sleeping on the pile. _________________ Shadow's Blog Canine Hydrocephalus Support on Facebook "Being the parent of a special-needs pet means living your life constantly poised on the edge of a double-edged sword. | I can't believe so many people (or rather, their huskies) love those things. Here I thought Aevyn was unique with his love for it.
I think I'm going to contact the company. let them know they've made a whole slew of Huskys super happy. |
