After the run he insisted he is truly a house dog-

So, so gorgeous. Love that's he's a couch potato at home!

Mason's just the coolest dog we love him to pieces! I love how content he is in the house or out on the trail. He really wanted to go run today, but we had other plans this weekend that will have my other dogs working in harness in another respect so I need them to be refreshed!

LOL, well being that he is my most consistent lead dog and the main powerhouse on my team I don't see that happening any time soon

Someone got a bath today! Mason and Denali are going to participate in a day of education in a local event to show the diversity of the breed

Nice, looks like he's blowing his coat as well. Lani is this the boy you mentioned being fixed because he's from an opps litter or was that a different pup? I love his coloration. Is he from a working/show kennel or a working one?

Mason is the oops puppy- he is from an all racing kennel. What little coat he has he is starting to tuft. To me he deviates from true breed type, though he's lovely all the same. He is a dark gray/white with dirty face which makes him appear a little different than the more open face we see more commonly on pets and show dogs.

I really like his "dirty face" it's very cool. also good luck at your event!

I think he is indeed lovely. If you don't mind my asking, was it simply that it was an unintentional breeding or was it a case of too close of relation? If you don't want to answer that I understand. While he doesn't have the typical markings of the Pets and Show lines I personally really like the facial markings. I also really like the fact that for being from an all racing kennel he doesn't have the extreme long leg and long back that tends to be very common - he seems very proportional to me.
