Forum Rules
1. Here we prefer clarity to agreement. Obviously not everyone is going to agree on a topic; here we prefer to talk out our differences in a respectful manner to ensure mutual understanding and respect.
2. Read the Stickies and Announcements. Each sub-forum may have specific rules which trump the Forum Rules in cases where there may be conflicting information. Read the rules of each board before you post so that you are clear on the expectations of the staff.
3. Respect ALL Staff and Admins. These people volunteer of their time and MUST be respected as well as their word adhered to. They are responsible for maintaining a free, open, clear and organized forum. Anyone found to be openly undermining any official ruling by a staff member will be warned.
4. Signatures: One picture only and no links. Images: To keep the forum looking neat and tidy, we ask that members insert just one picture only in their signatures. The picture should be no more than 200x500 pixels and should be of an appropriate subject, for example, your dogs and their names. Should you need assistance creating an appropriate signature, please PM an Admin and we would be happy to help! This is to ensure that signatures remain a welcome addition to our forum instead of a cumbersome distraction. Links: Hyperlinks in signatures--unless to a personal blog or photo stream of your dogs (like Flckr or Piscasa, for example)--are strictly prohibited. Please PM a staff member with any questions or concerns regarding this rule.

Are this breeder? If so, shame on you.

If not, I suggest you REALLY look at this site and her breeding stock and check out the sticky on reputable breeders and realize why this person should not be breeding.

This is the breeder I was talking about while ago that was breeding merles and woolies and wouldn't answer any of questions about one of her so called "sledding lines" pup she had. So disgusting. It also looks like the "augoti" pup she has won't be anywhere near two years old when she plans to breed her.

So disgusting. There are so many red flags on that site can't even begin to list them all. They don't allow people to visit since their dogs are so poorly socialized. Its obvious why they are breeding-

I am not sure about that site, I was just interested in the pics of cute puppies so yes it could be a breeding. I feel guilty if you think I am promoting it but honestly I love the pics only.

The pics are of horribly irresponsibly bred puppies for profit without regard to health or quality of the breed Sad If you want cute husky pics there are a TON on this site- Lots of proud husky parents here sharing all sorts of pics Smile

Get well acquainted with SHCA.org (Siberian Husky Club of America), they are a wonderful resource on what to look for in a breeder, what you need to ask for as a puppy buyer, and a list of breeders they recommend as ethical breeders....though not every ethical breeder belongs to the parent club it is a good place to start IMO.

Check out the scrapbook section of the forum, there are loads of way cute photos there for you to take a look at.
People here are very passionate about getting your pup from a rescue or responsible breeder, with good reasons, so hopefully what was posted helps you find one. Don't be afraid to ask about breeders in particular either, we have members from all over that can help with their experiences.

Hey , I am looking into getting a husky over the next six months, and I have actually been looking for a topic on here for what to look for in a breeder and how to tell if he ba and good a stuff other than obvious reasons.. I have always had dogs from shelters or just random "whoops" litters that weren't exactly meant to happen, nothing like a breeder situation. So I will check out the SHCA.org but is there a forum like the one I am looking for?
